ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGY POSITIONS

Entry Level Geologists

Full-time entry-level positions are available for degreed geologists and degreed scientists in a related field. Duties will include extensive fieldwork, soil boring advancement, well installation, groundwater and soil sampling, preparing written proposals and reports for assessment and remediation of petroleum-impacted sites.

Project Manager /
Geologists

Full-time mid to senior level positions are available for degreed geologists (BS/BA) and degreed scientists in a related field. Qualifications include experience in FDEP Pre-Approval program, ability to work with government regulators, and ability to work closely with clients. Responsibilities include project management, familiarity with FDEP regulations, developing technical site cleanup specifications, developing project costs and budgets, and familiarity with site remedial technologies. Duties will include intrusive fieldwork, client interface, regulatory agency negotiations, preparing written proposals and reports for assessment and remediation of petroleum-impacted sites. Experience in the FDEP Pre-Approval Petroleum Cleanup Program and a Florida PG license are preferred.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING POSITIONS

Entry Level Engineers

Full-time entry-level positions are available for degreed engineers. This position requires a degree in mechanical, civil or environmental engineering. The candidate must possess good technical writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Mechanical or construction skills and experience are useful. Fieldwork and travel throughout Florida will be required. Responsibilities include working with a construction team as the field engineer to install petroleum remediation systems, overseeing subcontractor activities and insuring that subcontracted work meets job specifications and preparing design documents for remedial projects including source removal, vacuum extraction, air sparging, multi-phase extraction and bio-remediation strategies. Preparation of proposals, reports for construction efforts, system operations and site assessments and complete other similar professional work related to remediation of soil and groundwater are required.

Project Manager /
Associate Engineers

Full-time associate positions are available for degreed engineers. This position requires a degree in mechanical, civil or environmental engineering and one to five years experience. The candidate must possess good technical writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Mechanical or construction skills and experience are useful. Fieldwork and travel throughout Florida will be required. Responsibilities include working with a construction team as the field engineer to install petroleum remediation systems, overseeing subcontractor activities and insuring that subcontracted work meets job specifications and preparing design documents for remedial projects including source removal, vacuum extraction, air sparging, multi-phase extraction and bio-remediation strategies. Associate engineers also perform maintenance and troubleshoot remote petroleum remediation systems, prepare written proposals and reports for construction efforts, system operations and site assessments and complete other similar professional work related to remediation of soil and groundwater.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN POSITIONS

Entry Level Technicians

Full time entry level technician positions are available for individuals with mechanical, construction and electronics aptitude who are at least 21 years of age. Duties include groundwater and soil sampling, soil field screening, monitor well and soil boring installation oversight, remedial construction, operation and maintenance of remedial systems and source removal oversight. This position requires constant attention to detail and accurate written record keeping.

Senior Technicians

Full time senior level positions are available for experienced environmental technicians. Duties include groundwater and soil sampling, soil field screening, monitor well and soil boring installation oversight, remedial construction, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of remedial systems, source removal oversight, heavy equipment operation and closure assessment and oversight. This position requires constant attention to detail, accurate written record keeping, excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-discipline team.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES /
DRAFTING POSITIONS

IT/CAD Specialists

Full and part time entry level positions are available for specialists in information technology and computer aided design. Duties include preparation of technical and geographical drawings, network management, IT troubleshooting and maintenance, graphic arts, phone/cellular/radio management, and printing. This position requires at least an introductory knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software, basic skills in Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office, and a fanatic level of attention to detail. A+ certification and AutoCAD experience preferred.
